Privacy notice
This notice covers two things. What happens to the details you send through the enquiry form, and what happens to the material you share with us during a piece of work.
Who we are
Bid Crucible is a trading name of Ilori Streamline Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 16378536. That company is the data controller for enquiries made through this site, which means it is the one that decides what happens to your information. You can reach that company at [email protected], or at its registered office, 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU.
The enquiry form
What we collect
Your name, your organisation, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and whatever you write in the message.
Why
To answer your enquiry and, if you go on to engage us, to do the work. Our lawful basis for answering the enquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you started. Once an enquiry becomes an engagement, the lawful basis becomes the performance of that contract.
How long we keep it
It is kept for 90 days after the work ends, and then deleted. Sooner if you ask. If the enquiry never becomes work, the same period runs from the enquiry itself, and the only exception either way is anything the law obliges us to keep.
What else happens to it
It is used to answer you, and it is never sold or added to a mailing list.
The form also records which page you sent it from, any campaign tag on the link you followed, and the address of the site that referred you, never the page or the search behind it, and there is one optional question asking how you first heard about us, which you can leave blank.

Measurement
We count page views with a cookieless analytics service that stores nothing on your device and never identifies you.
Material you share during a piece of work
Four rules hold for every file you send, from the first enquiry to the end of the work, and the security page states them.
Please don't send us personal data about the people you support
Bids are written from aggregated outcomes and anonymised case material, and that's all we need. If a case study you want to use identifies someone, anonymise it before it reaches us. If it arrives anyway we'll tell you and delete it.
Processors
Three categories of third party touch this: AI model providers, for drafting and checking, hosting for this site and the enquiry form, and email delivery for the reply. Which named providers, on what terms and under what obligations is set out in the data handling agreement, which is available before you send anything. Ask first and we'll tell you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to us holding it. Ask through the enquiry form and we'll act on it, and you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, which regulates this in the UK.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. The only thing it loads from another company's servers is the cookieless counter above.
