The process, start to finish
What do you send us, and what comes back?
The funder's guidance or the tender pack, your deadline and anything already written go in the first message. The reply carries the fee, the dates and whether the bid is worth making. Then about an hour of your time, and the finished bid lands on your desk ready to submit.
What happens after I send it?
-
You send the brief and get the fee, and whether to bid
The fund guidance or the tender pack, your deadline, and anything already written. A fixed fee comes back with the scope, the dates and a yes or no on bidding. We confirm whether we can meet your deadline in the same reply, before you pay anything.
-
About an hour of your time
A call, recorded with your permission, so that the hour is spent talking rather than taking notes. We ask for evidence you already hold: monitoring, evaluations, accounts, delivery records, past bids, and the bid gets built out of those.
-
We write it, and the next thing you see is the finished document
It's built from your evidence against the criteria it will be marked on. With it comes a change log explaining every change, and the questions that are yours to decide.
-
Handover, your decisions, then you submit
You get the document, the change log with every change explained and ranked by what it's worth, the gaps we couldn't close, and the short list of questions only you can answer. You make those calls, they go into the document, and it goes in under your own name.
What is settled before anything starts?
The fee
You get the number before you commit, and it is the number on the invoice. You pay on delivery.
What goes in the document
Every figure and every statement traces to something you gave us. Where the evidence is missing you get a named gap and, where there's time, a way to fill it before the deadline.
Who submits
You do. We hold none of your funder or portal logins, and every word a funder or a buyer reads arrives from your own people.
When not to bid
If the criteria say you're ineligible, or the wrong size, or the fund closes before your case can be ready, you get that with the reasoning before any fee is agreed.
Who reads my bid?
Theo Ilori runs every engagement, and his background is engineering, which is why every table in your bid gets added up again. More on the about page.
If you go to more funders than one person can keep up with, the same cycle runs every month on a retained arrangement from £950 a month.
Send us the fund or the tender and get a fixed fee back
One message carries the guidance, the deadline and your draft, and it is priced before you commit to anything.
