Grant applications are from £500, full tenders £2,500 to £5,000. Send the funder's guidance or the tender pack, your deadline and whatever exists already, and the document comes back written from your own figures against the criteria it's marked on. You read it last and press submit.
How do you write a grant application for us?
Bid writing for a charity means we turn what you already hold into the application the funder's criteria ask for, for a fixed £500 to £2,500. What you hold is your monitoring figures, last year's evaluation, your accounts and an hour of your own words. It comes back ready to submit, with the few questions only your trustees can answer listed at the end.
Every fact in the application is something you can produce if the funder asks. How much to ask for comes back to you as a question. That one is a trustee decision.
If your own team has already drafted the application, send that instead, and a bid review at £400 to £750 checks it against the funder's criteria before it goes in.
Who owns it afterwards?
Everything produced is yours the day it is delivered: the finished document, every draft and the research behind it, to use and reuse as you like. Hand the whole file to a different writer next year if that is what you want.
How do you write a tender for us?
Tender writing here is the quality answers, the method statements and the social value section, written from your delivery record and your numbers against the evaluation criteria and their weightings. Word limits and the portal deadline are held. A full tender is £2,500 to £5,000 and a small one is £500 to £2,500, both fixed before you commit.
A formal tender is marked question by question. You submit through the portal yourselves. The dates the tender imposes on you come as a list at the start. If your team has already drafted the response, send that instead, and a bid review at £550 to £950 checks it against the weightings before it goes on the portal.
Which fee band is ours?
£500 to £2,500 covers a trust or foundation application or a small tender. £2,500 to £5,000 covers a full tender with weighted questions, method statements, social value and a compliance pack.
Inside a band, two things set the fee, and both are fixed before you commit. One is the number of questions, and the other is how much of your evidence is already written down. Every fee is on the pricing page. If this is one of several this year, retained support is from £950 a month.

If the guidance is short and you've written a winning one to this funder before, you probably should, and sending it here to be told that is free. What you are buying otherwise is a week of writing you do not have to find.
How do I know if my business is ready to tender?
Read the selection questionnaire before anything else, because it sets the pass-or-fail requirements, usually accounts, insurance levels, references and policies, and if you can't meet one of those no amount of writing fixes it. Send the pack and you get that read before any fee is agreed.
